FM Radio – Free Music in every corner
The radio is probably one of the most popular free services. We can easily hear everywhere. At home, at work, on the bus, by car while walking, etc. The term "distribution" usually means a good service, you can get and is usually free with no subscription or expensive equipment. With the radio you also get music for free. You can listen at work or you can relax and enjoy your favorite band. There are many ways toSound as a free service. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, but the fact is that the old FM radio, as we know it is by far the most common transmission.
You can listen to Internet radio stations which broadcast on. This service is free, but you will have access to the Internet and a computer. There are also some devices (readers network) that support the spread of the Internet, but we still need access to the Internet and wireless (WiFi) or throughnetwork. The advantage of Internet radio is that there are thousands of stations so it is simple in theory at least, to try to find a station playing the music as you. cable systems also offer IPTV and radio stations, but this is limited to the point where the connection.
The satellites also provide a lot of radio stations. But stations to receive satellite requires a satellite receiver, so that this type of reception is only suitable for homeListening. There are also mobile satellite services, but generally are not free. You have to pay a subscription. Despite the fact that satellite services are cheap and you get the coverage areas of large, not that kind of radio suitable for general reception. Satellites offer a wide selection of stations, but the receiving device is quite complex.
Therefore, terrestrial radio is the most popular platform for radio. While the AM radio is stillused in some countries, particularly for international spread, is the FM radio that is found in every corner. There are many reasons for its popularity. It's free, just a simple receiver and economically. The receivers are being incorporated into mobile phones, MP3 players and many other devices. The quality of the FM (frequency modulation) is very high. With reception quality stereo receivers and other high-end, you get better sound quality compared to vinyl records.
Whyare many advantages of terrestrial broadcasting, there are many stations interested in using these media. Of course, frequency spectrum is a scarce resource is one and a small fraction of the radio spectrum allocated. Therefore, we can only consider a limited number of stations in this band. Also, to avoid harmful interference, there are many strict rules on frequency planning, which further limit the number of radio stations that canwe can receive.
But despite all the drawbacks and limitations of the VHF radio will be used for many years. Interesting, is not comparable digital broadcasting, the analogue radio could replace the old.
